    80 cdv 90 front end

    i Got the 80 cdv i wanna put the 90 front end on it. how would i hook up the lights? switching harnesses, splicing, etc

    Just splice them with the same colors. Green with green, tan with tan and black with black and presto..
    Are you just switching headerpanel or the whole front clip...meaning fenders, bumper, headerpanel.
    I have an 80 coupe and did this swap and sold everything and went to og look.

    yea fenders etc. on the back lights do they splice the same or is it jus the lens

    Back lights require the 90-92 taillight housings and modification of the housings/ bumper to fit the 80-89 bumper.....or you need the horizontal part of the 90-92 bumper

    For the taillights, I kept the og outer ends, I used the wires from the 90-92 brougham, it snaps into the same connector. To make them fit I used
    a step drill bit and I marked the 80s bumper where to make the hole to accept the small 3rd little light found on these lenses. Eventually, I did get the correct outer ends and put those on.
    Years went by, and I sold everything that was 90-92 on my 80 and went to the OG look.
