EXTENSION. Front Fender Inner Wheel House

Does anyone know where I can get a NEW Front Fender Inner Wheel House Extension? I need one for the front/left side.
Everywhere I've looked they either say discontinued or no longer available.
Does anyone have any old new stock?

Here's an example of what I've run into.

every car i found in a salvage yard is either missing them or missing a huge piece of them, they are like gold when you find them in good shape. my car only had one when i got it and a tire blow out took car of it for me

goto layitlow.com and look up cadillac connect, he parts these cars out all day long and is reasonable on the price

Are they completely necessary? I what I mean is the car drivable with rain, road dirt, etc and will the chrome outer panel come off while driving?

the chrome outer panel wont come off, i know the driverside is there just to hide the compressor, they do block water and dirt and such but are a beauty filler piece if anything...i drive my car everyday without them

Thanks for the insight. I was a bit worried about driving it on the freeway and having the chrome piece come off.
I do need to get to the compressor this weekend. It keeps running for 4-5 minutes before shouting off. I'm guessing that there's an air leak somewhere.

yea either the thin air line or the rear shocks themselves are dryotted, you can unplug the compressor from the fuse panel under the hood, passenger side by the firewall

Yes, I think I'll do that until I get it into the shop. I'm not sure but I think it controls the rear shocks.
I was fixing the passenger seat and decided to fix the front cup holder and got underneath and removed the other part of the front extension. It seems that it broke at the 90 degree bend. I just washed it and am going to use JB Weld on the bend then re-enforce it with black duct tape on both side. I have some of the expensive stuff so it should hold for sometime.
I'll post how it came out.
Other that needing a spear on the front drivers side I'm good to go. Since the spears are also hard to come by I just may replace them (F&R, L&R fenders since the ones on the doors seems very good and aren't crinkling) with a Pep Boys special chrome strip and call it a day.

    Wish me luck.

Here's the guy that may be able to help you. He is a fixture on the wagon and Impala forums. He also has Fleetwood parts or can get them. They are rust free FL parts.

Thanks Tom. I just may give him a shout if I can't fix what I have.

instead of JB weld look into a hot stapler and plastic adhesive. we use the stapler on certain bumper covers, really helps with strengthening it up before adding the plastic repair adhesive

the chrome on the doors wont crinkle like the fender and 1/4 panel spears as the fenders asnd 1/4 panel spears are vacumm plated plastic, the doors are metal

and i was just on ebay yesterday they had all 4 spears new old stock for around $300 last i checked

    ----------

there is also a guy on layitlow you would have to search the parts classifieds but he makes replacement spears out of stainless so they never crinkle again, about $400 for a complete set

    Almost done.
Well I finally found the time to bond it together.
I applied black duct tape on one side, applied JB Weld on the opposite side of the extension, now it's together and sealed. Pretty hard too. I'm going to let it sit over night so the JB cures completely the I'll put on duct tape on the other side to finish it off.

Not a filler. The black plastic part underneath, between the bumper and the wheelwell.
