    Whistling Load Leveling

Everytime the load level lights goes on I can hear a terrible whistling outside the car.. any common locations where these air lines tear? If I pull the relay for the load leveling will the light on the dash stay on or off? this is on my day-old '90 Brougham 5.7... Thanks in advance..

The most common place that I have seen leaks occur on these is near the tires. On the '90 I beleive that the compressor is still under the hood mounted up high, so the front tires should not be the culprit.

Look at the back... there is a place where the tubing goes through the frame rail near the tires. If you pull the air line from the compressor and let the air bleed out then reconnect it and power up the car, you should be able to find the source of the leak.
