    94 fleetwood power antenna problem

I got this problem that my power antenna wont go up or down, actually its stock in middle position, and when I turn off the car I hear the antenna motor humming, still trying to get it down, and it doesnt stop. I didnt have any problems yet with my battery draining out, even if the car sits for two or three days, but what I wanna know is if there is a fuse I can unplug until I fix it or is it a closed circuit like the power windows, in that case how do I get it to stop ??

    Thanks in advance

it will stop after a short time, you can unplug it right off the motor in the trunk, the nylon cable inside is broken, it comes with a new antenna mast, if your lucky you can find a replacement on ebay for about $25, if not you can replace the whole motor assembly

There is a tutorial in the Tech Tips forum on replacing the cable. Dealers "should" have the repair kit, but I was unable to find one when I needed it. Got mine from www.antennamastsrus.com.

And, yes, there is a fuse for it. Take the fuse out until you fix the antenna. Or, unplug the antenna.
