    Ignition/Door lock Replacement. 1968 Deville

    Hi all.

Looking to replace all of these.

Can you please recommend a place? I see some on line. Not sure of their quality.

Do I need the Long or Short door lock sets?

Also, Is it possible to replace the ignition from the bottom as opposed to taking off the Top Dash?

I took off the Steering Wheel/Lower panel and although tight it seems like you can get it from there.

    Thanks.

    Jason

I can't tell you if you need long or short. Mine are fairly short. As for the ignition lock, you can change that from the front of the dash if you have a key for it. Basically you insert the key and the push a pick or large paper clip in the hole on the cylinder, then turn the key counterclockwise and it will come out. I'm sure there are directions online if you google it.
