    Engine Rebulit, Putting it back in tonight!

    Like the topic says, pulled my motor w/128k leaking exhaust manifold bolts which sheared off in the head was the origional reason for pull, ended up doing a full rebuild, take a look at some photos and let me know what you think!! Putting her back in tonight after work, 94 Fleetwood

    Not being a mechanic, these images don't mean too much for me but to an trained eye I know they will
    Great job and I think you also added some chromed manifolds , very cool job
    May be you should also consider of tackling Corvette starter since you already put on some Corvette stuffs on it ,128000 miles kinda premature for a rebuilding because we don't talk about shitstars lol
    Anyway ,happy many driving with your new rebuilt engine :higfive:

    yeah I would agree, but I had to pull the heads to tap and extract the sheered off bolts, and at that point why not tear it all the way down? Nothing like a fresh start.

    My brother is faced with the same thing on his 100k-mile Roadmaster wagon. I have an extra LT1 out of another Roadmaster in the garage (also with broken manifold bolts). He's gonna have that one rebuilt with some extra head, intake, cam work. All because of those stupid manifold bolts.

    The RH manifold on my limo is leaking, too. So once he gets the new engine into the Roadmaster, I'll have the old Roadmaster engine similarly tweaked and drop it in the limo
