    I have no clue if type F cleans any better or worse than Dexron. Dex-ron.

    I would not put trans fluid in the oil on a Cadillac engine. They typically have very minimal garbage in the bottom end compared to older stuff. The main and rod bearings might not like it.

    I didn't use it in my Cadillac----it was a 59 Oldsmobile at that time.

    I just added a half quart of Dexron to my last tank, and noticed an immediate change. The engine felt like it was missing at idle, and after driving it for a half hour with the ATF in the tank, the idle has almost completely smoothed out. Usually, fuel additives cause the engine to run worse until the tank is empty, so I would say that the Dexron is working better than anything commercially designed to improve engine performance.
