1995 Fleetwood door panel retainer clips...

Taking apart the door panels on my Fleetwood to find a couple of annoying rattles quickly yielded the culprit. In the past, someone else had taken the panels off without the proper tool and broke the retainers. I had some spares, but also broken off and completely gone are the little square plastic brackets that the retainers twist into along the bottom edge. I know someone out there has to know what I'm talking about, and I'm curious if there's anywhere I can get replacements.

I'm wondering if the morons that tinted my windows did it, since they definitely took the door panels off to do it. So hard to find good labor these days...

It was probably the tint guys. You can get the door panel retainers at any parts store. To fix the parts of the panels where they spin into, you are going to have to get creative with some plastic and JB Weld. Very common problem.

I've fixed many RMW door panels and like Jason said you have to be creative. I have tried all kinds of things. The last fix I used a pretty good size flat washer and hot glued it. That's holding up well.

I've used JB Weld with great success.
