    They want too much for the car. I offered him $1k. He scoffed at that, saying the rims and catalytic converter were worth more than that. Not sure why he zeroed in on those 2 items, but I'd have picked something else. It's not worth anymore than that to me. He said he didn't know how many miles were on it, which translates to "more than I want to tell you", it needs tires and a battery. I asked him what kind of shape it is inside and he replied with "it runs". I think I was generous in my offer.
