Did you use them to level, or to jack-up? If to level, how much ride comfort did you loose over new springs?

I used them to level out with some cargo springs. Ride was rough, especially on a big bump without a load because of the springs.

Dad had them in a 77 catalina wagon when I was a kid. Don't remember any ride quality loss (raised the back end up from sagging a couple inches to a couple inch rake), but the car had blown shocks and worn 300k springs, so its not like it could have been much worse anyways.
