    air conditioning vibration

when the ac turns on, it creates a vibration that you can hear and feel through the air box. it was a new compressor, but replaced under warranty to rule it out. oil level in the system is perfect, and refrigerant charge is perfect. Pulled and cleaned the orifice tube. there is absolutely no air in the system. I'm a licensed mechanic, so i can do all my own work, but I've never experienced this before. anyone have any ideas?

No idea at all. What car is it on? I'll check my maintenance manuals when I get home, maybe they mention this in the troubleshooting section.

no, u can actually feel it when you hold the ac hoses under the hood, so its transmitting through the system..

Got to be the fan motor or bearing as that is the only thing spinning.

wouldn't be the fan, cuz even when its on low the vibration and noise never changes. it's had me scratching my head on what it could be lol.

May have to poke around with an auto stethoscope to pin point the location of the noise.
