    Yikes is sea 10w-30 oil ok for my lt1 fleetwood

    I just realized i put the wrong weight oil in my 96 fleetwood lt1 350 it takes 5w-30 but i put 10w-30 i used gtx high milage sea 10w-30 part synthetic motor oil, should i be ok until the next oil chang or should i change it to the correct 5w-30 oil?

    Great so can i stick with 10-30 for now on or just threw out the summer then switch to 5-30 when it gets cold??

    Temp ranges for different oil viscosities are in your owners manual.

    i run 10w30 in all of my cars in the summer up here in maine. I go back to 5w30 in the winter though.
