My manual says you have to remove the fuel tank to do so. I just got my 95 and I haven't even been under it yet, so I don't know if it's possible to remove/replace the sender without removing the tank.

Checked my book again. It doesn't say anything special about removing/installing the sending unit. It says it should fit right in, as is. You sure you got the right part?

Its the right part for sure, its just the long plastic tube thats fits on the fuel pump and goes underneth the sending unit,it sticks out,i think i mite cut it so it would just go up and down instead of it sticking out to the sick because its so long dont know why they did that for??

Some russians guys just cut hole in bottom of trunk compartment.
So they can remove fuel pump without removing tank
