Took the car for a long ride today and used the headlights to get home and could smell burning the whole way. Smells like it's coming from the headlight switch. A few minutes after I turned it off it seemed to go away. The relay that "fixed" the lights was pretty hot, not enough to burn my hands, but hotter than I would think it should be.
And got the diagnosis that the trans is shot today. My buddy's got a pile of them for $50 if 4100's use the same 200 4r bellhousing. Just really don't have the time for this.
