Wire wheel options for 93-96 Fleetwoods

A while back I remember seeing a 93 Fleetwood on craigslist that had these aftermarket wire wheels from coker tire.

I'm usually a little iffy about wire wheels on the 93-96, it looks a little too "dainty", but the thickness of the center hub on those really makes a difference, and I recall thinking it actually looked pretty nice. The only thing that was off was the retro Cadillac crest on the center cap. Now, if one could make a center cap for that wheel out of one of these:

I think that would look pretty striking in the end, no? I'm not sure how well it would work, or how much customization would need to be done, but I might look into it.

It'd be easier to paint over the caps that come with the wheels, and put wreath and crest emblems on them.

Original hub caps are the best ones in my opinion and they can be as good as a hub cab can be , 2nd image you posted .As for those wire wheels they fit better pre 60 Cadillacs

What is nice are the 1990-1992 Factory optional wire wheels, but those are VERY PRICEY.

IMHO, the center cap is too small for such a big, imposing car. As Cadillac Giovani put it: "dainty".

I think the small contemporary cap looks more natural on the 95 than the bigger 50s style cap. The 95 is a much less "fancy" car than the 50s style cars.

I guess, to my eye, the proportions are just wrong.

Yes, I agree the 50's style cap is too fancy, but just the right size. If you could replace the 50s style centercap with the original gray centercaps from the 93-96, I think that would look great.

I just realized I'm probably not going to do this. Price aside, those rims are an inch thinner then the original rims, which will probably have adverse effects on the handling, and skinnier tires would also look too dainty.
