Now all I need is a fender. I think I found one in Evansville Indiana (about 2 and a half hours away) but the guy at the yard isn't sure if the car has the part I need.

The dismantling was easy; it's the tracking down the parts that's the real kick in the pants.

Go to speedway...they have a 77-79 coupe (at least they did last time I was there). The fender needs a repaint but so would any other fender you would buy. And madison IL is closer than evansville IN

Also, where is that blue car? I'd love to get the chrome off the middle of the car if it is a sedan.

Looks like you are off to a fine start. Good luck, and keep us posted. Good luck with the fender. Don't forget, car-part.com is an excellent source, even for old cars like ours.

That one's at Taylor. Sadly, it's a coupe. There are some good parts on it though, not a lot, but some.

How long ago were you at Speedway? That's the one in town I haven't hit yet. Are there any other ones that are nearby (within 100 miles) that are worth a damn?

I want to say it was 3 months ago maybe. They tend to leave the old caddys since they're popular. IIRC, the coupe is brown/ black (someone spraypainted some of the panels black)

So what was wrong with the fender on the coupe at taylors?
Also, did they have any other RWD caddys or wagons?

I go to riverside (on hall street past the RR tracks before the giant cummins engine) and speedway. picknpull sucks, and IIRC, the rest of the yards in town are parts counters.

The fender at Taylor's was all bent to shit. they got an early 70's Deville and a mid 70's Eldo. I didn't see much in the way of wagons. A couple of Caprices and A Cutty or two.
