    climate control acting up

As some of you guys know, I just got my caddy back from doing the drivetrain swap. On the way home, the climate control unit was acting up. The temperature changed from 90 to 78 without pressing anything. I've also had issues (prior to the swap) of the outside temp reading crazy numbers like -115 and it showing the outside temp when I didn't press the button to call it up).
It still works otherwise (gives heat and AC), but I would prefer it to not act up. Can anyone tell me any way to figure out which part of the CC system is the culprit?

Well, my acting up outside temperature turned out to be the temperature sensor (the one behind the grille) missing. I guess that I never reinstalled it after insetting the grille 1". I haven't figured out why the temperature changed from 90 to 78.
