    Need a door diagram

I'm looking for a diagram of the inside of a 91 Borugham door. Here's what I know.

    Drivers door
Using the electric locks, the door makes the locking noise but doesn't lock.
The rod that the lock pull attaches too appears to be missing
If I use the key the door locks and unlocks properly.

I'm trying to figure out, without taking the panel off, what part(s) is missing. Is it just the rod and where can I get one?

Just bite the bullet and take the door panel off. You'll likely find the rod is just disconnected.

my rear door didthe same thing. The locking/latching mech was all gummed up and so the electric door lock motor was kicking off but wasn't strong enough to pull the rod.

Anyone have instructions on panel removal? I know it's usually pretty easy but sometimes there's that hidden screw / fastener.

I had instructions for the door panel removal on a members thread a few months back. If no one else posts instructions, I'll dig them out and put them up tonight (I'm on my phone now so I can't link to the thread.) It's not hard to remove the door panel, but you have to know where all the screws are.

Edit: thread is called "1988 brougham door panel removal" (can't post a link because I'm on the phone)
