Looking good. I got the fillers that go under the headlights if you need them.

Re: my 86 FWB 350 project ("hooptielac") thread

    thanks
went junkyarding today. Didn't have time to get the piece of stainless that sits in the front bumper (since my dad backed his hitch over it a couple months ago).
I did get a great looking grille for $15 (one tab was broken off, but I got it). the car I got it off of was a 1990 d'elegance with firemist brown paint with gorgeous tan d'elegance leather interior. It had been in a violent rollover though. the dash and firewall were rolled forward into the engine bay, the hood was crushed in, and the fenders were actually ripped. Shame because it had been a gorgeous car. The rear bumper, doors, and all fillers had been taken already (and it hadnt been there a week). The front seats were mint (too bad I have no use for a bench front seat anymore)
I also snagged some parts for a members 78 CDV. (which took most of my time at the yard). pics of the grille to come tomorrow

realized I never put up pics of my $50 sub setup (yes they work). 3x 12" hifonics olympian warrior (8 ohm speakers set up in a 2.6 ohm load)

and my cool flip down front pioneer HU in action. I'm gonna have to keep the manual with me so I know how to use it!

Built in 13 band eq, time delay, room correction, and 3 sets of pre outs make it sexier (oh....and the blue light changes color)

It also supports a 50 disc cd changer (trunk space is waaay overrated!!!)

Scored a set of rust free doors today (they're gray- paid 40 a pop with interior panels, nice power mirrors, glass, and all chrome)....now I just need a hood, rf fender, and trunk lid (all dented) and I can have a straight rust free car.

Coming along nicely! Props on the custom console, and nice junk yard scores!
