1971 sedan deville weatherstripping
I need the roof rail weatherstripping for a sedan deville. The last owner just ripped it out so I have no idea what it even looks like. I have found a few online but theyre in the $160-200 range. Is that right? Thats some pretty expensive weatherstripping. Anybody know where I can get some for a decent price or if a generic one out there I can use. Since I don't have the original one I can't compare them to know if it will work. If I have to I can get that $165 part but it just seems like a ton of money for some rubber parts. Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching the forums to but found nothing. If you could point me to a thread with that info it would help to. Thanks again.

Sorry but generics won't cut it. Spend the $ to do it right or risk leaks and wind noise. Steele Rubber makes it and yes it not inexpensive. Just ordered some for mine so I feel your pain. Though compared to the damage that can be done by leaks, it's cheap.

lol well it's a long story. But cars in the shop right now getting the driveshaft and exhaust fixed. Just trying to get a few parts ready for when it finally gets back to me. Hopefully by this Friday I can get it back and finally start the project. It's in rough condition but still runs good. When I get it back I'll take some pics and post them.
Also thanks I thought I would have I get those pieces. If you get them from original parts group mine cost about $165 plus shipping.
