    Out of storage!

Today I took a ride up to Brunswick and pulled my '87 Brougham D'Eligance out of storage. I had bought a new battery before putting it in storage however when attempting to start the old boat today she wouldn't turn over. Tried to jump it with my 95 to no avail so I pulled the battery back out and took it to the nearest napa for a swap. $0. Car started up and drove home great

Nothing better than getting the cars back in the spring. Well, maybe not having to put them away...

    Re: Out of storage!

when i ;put a car away fro more then a month without planning on driving it i always hook up a power suply or stand alone charger to it to let it keep its charge
always ended up going after a moth or 2 and with a dead battery

I think he means after a month or two of sitting, the battery would be down.

That's funny, my friend just got the 88 with the 454 out today too. Said he just had to jump it and it ran fine. Can't wait to see it tonight.

I´m glad you can have your classics on the road again, after snow is over... You never do too many miles with them. Gas is in the air!

I don't need an attitude check. I have a Troll Meter. Any you put it in the red. We don't like trolls in this section. You don't have a RWD classic Cadillac, so you don't need to be here. Stay in the Lounge where others can listen to you.

I won't even bother to respond to your comment about cars. It would only be embarrassing for you.

Go ahead and whine to someone else about me. I don't care. I care about this section, the forum as a whole, and the good members that are useful, contributing posters that have gone out of their way over the years to assist others.

PS: smart people use capitals and proper punctuation. Is that smart enough for you?

PPS: you don't get the last word. I know that is hard to take. I'm just sorry that this thread is closed because you showed up in it.
