    1981 SDV trim

7 years ago I had my car painted and a new vinyl top ... The paint still looks great but top is shot... All cracks, I mean junk... I really pisses me off... I want to rip off the vinyl top and have the top painted and leave it like that.... My problem is I can't find a rear window trim for a non vinyl top window... I was thinking that trim from a chev impala , or buick, pontic or olds would fit the caddy....can anybody hep here? Dave

I believe that the back window trim from non-vinyl top Buick or Olds will fit the Cadillac when the vinyl and the plastic back window trim is removed.

    Cheers.....R.

your rear window will probably look funny without the vinyl. I'm not sure about early 80's caddys, but the mid 80's have most of the window (everything thats hidden by the roof treatment) blacked out and the blacked out part has no defroster lines.
trim for an olds 98 or buick electra will work, as long as the mounting holes are in the same spot.

Layitlow.com should have your trim. Just post what you need in the 80-92 parts section. I see the trim there all the time.

I have the trim you need. I personally took it off a parts car. PM me for details.

    Hey,

I'm looking for the rear window trim as well... Did you sell it already?
