Ive never even thought about alignment being a problem with these rims. Good to know, when I do mine Ill remove the caps before I take it in I guess.

yep unless they have adapters for there sensors which noone around had...i sweat my ass off pulling the wheels off and reinstalling everything...went out last night and a big pothole knocked my back one loose when the skirt hit...had to pull it today and reinstall the cap

then i got my ass kicked changing a window motor in the front passenger door...thought id be slick and change it in the door. the spring on the regulator let loose and i had to pull it all out...got it done though

Re: CadillacPimpinNOLA's 95 Fleetwood buildup 56K your computer will blow up

few pics. got some cash after a drunk casino night, almost turned bad but i turned it around. now i dont know what i wanna buy

heres the car when it didnt have the caps or skirts for the alignment. looks so weird

for mr holland. after all that work putting the caps back on, next day i knocked one loose. the screws on the back hub to tighten the spokes and prevent any clacking. id say check them after you put some miles on the rims, i still have to do the fronts but the back rims were all loose.

last night i was drunk, lost $800 on roulette, bout to leave pissed off, for whatever reason i dont play slot machines often. i put $100 in a $1 machine, betting max $3 a spin, i got it up to $500 when it got down to $477 i hit it and bam, small jackpot $1,440, taxed my ass on the spot. i got $1,300+ after state, have to file federal. but i cashed out with the $1300 plus my $474 in the machince.

so now im up over what i almost lost. went back to roulette, threw up $200, cashed out with $900, kept playing on another 2 tables, went down to $400 and brought it right back up to $900 and left...made about $2000 profit last night

Are there torque specs for the spokes that you know of? What about removing one at a time and putting threadlock on them??

they just hold the spokes tight thats why i just snugged them up..i think the only harm that can be done is if you keep riding them knowing they are loosening up and you do nothing about it...but call TWW if steve doesnt answer they will take your number and hell call ya back. if whatever reason he doesnt ill give ya his cell number

Re: CadillacPimpinNOLA's 95 Fleetwood buildup 56K your computer will blow up

I just cannot win...awhile back when i had transmission issues, i wasnt going to pay the $2,400 they wanted to "Rebuild" my old one. I found one on craigslist used, pulled from a wrecked car. $250 was a steal and i got every bit of that $250 out of it. been great, put a bunch of miles on it.

I do not abuse the car, dog it out, hot rod it, the stereo is another thing but drivability wise. i baby the car

get in it yesterday and take off, thought it was sputtering on fumes. 1st gear is slippin. as soon as it catches 2nd its perfect.

but at traffic lights as soon as you take off its slipping again...I got way more than $250 use out of it but i dont want to pay that much for a rebuild and then have to go through the hassle again of changing it

Re: CadillacPimpinNOLA's 95 Fleetwood buildup 56K your computer will blow up

come to the conclussion that there is no way in hell im buying a new transmission or paying someone to rebuild mine. too damn much

I want to rebuild the one in the car as its the 94 model without the valve that gets hot in the 95's. its better but i need to drive the car.

so I have the original 95 one with low miles still in the shed untouched since swapping them out...

I myself am going to rebuild that one with a rebuild kit that cost roughly $200-300 and if any hard parts need to be changed they are not too much at all.

coming soon if i dont go blow all my money and find some time to do it. ill have a bunch of pics of a 4l60e rebuild done myself

Much respect for someone who will roll up their sleeves and dive in!!!! I had a friend that turned out to be very good at rebuilding transmissions by doing that very thing. I've always been intimidated to tackle one of my transmissions, but if you dropped yours off with me, I'll take it apart!!! LOL. Good luck, cant wait to hear how easy it was.

Re: CadillacPimpinNOLA's 95 Fleetwood buildup 56K your computer will blow up

i joke with the guys at work that my name is "Mr. Get it done"...thats the only way to learn is get in there...if i mess something up, it needs a rebuild anyway...from what i messed with, with old school transmissions they arent to hard, just intimidating when you see all the hundreds of parts...

my main concern was finding or building the tool to take the clutch basket out, its about $300 but for whatever reason my neighbor who isnt very mechanically inclined had one and let me borrow it.

basically theres 2 main things...keep it extremely clean when assembling and remember how you took it apart cuz it has to go back the same way.

not sure when im going to start it but it will be this month hopefully...my friend dropped his 2000 deville off for some work and i been driving that since sunday so i dont put unnecessary wear on the working trans

well, good and bad news...made a ton more money but during a process of shit faced drinking i managed to blow it all...transmission may have to wait a lil longer, well see.

I did get my flying lady hood ornament today and decided to put it on...b/c of the E&G grill i had to notch the factory emblem hole and drill a second hole above that but its on. love it or hate it. thats what i like
