    impala SS springs in a 1973 ?

I see the late '80's and 90's fleetwoods using the SS springs, but would they work on a '73 fleetwood?

or anyone have any success with lowering the frnt of an early '70s caddie ?

Not the correct way, but I cut mine in my '70. It was kind of becoming a rat so I didn't care too much, but it actually worked out pretty well. It rode ok and didn't bottom out. I wouldn't do it to a show car though. Grab some coils from a yard if you can't find another way, you don't have to cut yours.

kanter sells sets of coil springs for Caddys that are shorter by 2" 3" and 4" I believe.
