^Exactly. It's your car, and we can give all the input in the world, but at the end of the day, it's still your car. Go with what you like. (Although I think the rims and tires look sweeeeeeeeet.)

The rims would look better if they were chrome. Black they look like they are supposed to have hubcaps over them but someone stole them. Would look ok on a black car but not white.

That looks pretty ghetto....the black trim is awful, and the black rims make them look like snow tires. If the rims were silver it'd look good. Do you really want to put a black interior in a white car? You'll look like you're driving a reverse penguin.

Re: Which look do you like?

Mixed reviews. Thanks for the honesty, lets me know what the majority of people think of the look but they are here to stay. The benefits of the tires overrules the looks plus I dont have the money or the desire to change them. I have to agree that they dont look the best but they dont look horrible. But Dave, I may start calling them my "hightops", that was a good one. The black interior is going in because Jay wont give me his white interior and the interior I have in there now is put together. It was a theft recovery when I bought it and they did a number on the interior so I had to use a few parts cars to put it together. Now I'll have a nice looking matching interior with d'elegance options. But if Jay wants to trade...

The wheels and black trim just don't work. The styling is too traditonal and formal. Wire wheels, wire caps, or full Cadillac wheel covers (15") with either Royal Seal (white/gold) or modern wide white wall tires (around 2 inches with black showing between the wheel and stripe). Impala wheels, or any sport wheel, blackwalls or quite frankly "gangster" white walls just do not look right. Just being honest.

I wish them spokes could take the abuse the car gives. They would be great for this car.

Well why don't you put some on there? I know that you could run into some traction issues with the old man whitewall tires, but how much power are you putting down with that 500? Unless its something retarded stupid, feathering the throttle should get you a clean launch. Besides, its fun when the car barks the tires shifting into 2nd.

You can get 17 inch wires. I've been considering some after i rebuild my suspension. By the way what springs are you using?

Re: Which look do you like?

its not the handling issues, its the issue of the 500's torque literally tearing the rims apart (I've heard of it happening) .

618 pounds of torque. Spokes wouldn't stand a chance, especially when I want to make it stick on the track. I wish they would though, I love the look of the stock caddy spokes with vogues...nothing like it.

Re: Which look do you like?

Or, get some cheap 15" steelies for the track (15" tires are considerably cheaper and more common than 17"...) and a nice set of drag radials, and send those SS wheels down south.

Re: Which look do you like?

Sadly, not a fan of the rims on there. If the car was black, the black rims might work better, but on a white caddy they just look like all your hubcaps are missing... Though the tires are a good plan for the car.
