That would be much appreciated jon.j2rossit said:I've got a busted one of those radios in my shop. I can send you a pic of the faceplate later so you can see it's condition.
Its ok Jon. I went back to the junkyard today (got an extra set of chrome for my 83 lesabre from a gorgeous maroon 84) and stumbled across a cutlass trunk that someone had hoarded early 90s deville parts in. Among the various dash parts and hubcaps, there was a really nice UX1 stuffed up against the back seat.j2rossit said:Well, I looked through the shop and realized that I had tossed it. I guess I finally got fed up with keeping a busted radio that doesn't even fit any of the cars I own. It came out of a FWD fleetwood/deville and I did find that I kept the wood grain trim piece that surrounds it.
Those are getting rarer and rarer. The yard near me just got a V8-6-4 eldo in. Someone spraypainted the valve covers highlighter yellow. :facepalm:Fleetwood472 said:I found an 81 Eldorado with the V864 368 engine in the local salvage yard. If anyone needs parts let me know. The valvetrain is gone but it still has the Throttlebody and TBI manifold. Still has the mileage setinal too. If anyone needs parts let me know.
I pulled the badges off the eldorado. They're in my truck. I'll pull them out tomorrow and see if they're decent.Fleetwood472 said:Ya I havent seen one in years by me. I grabbed the valvetrain for a future v864 project. Are the v864 badges in decent shape at all on the eldorado by you? I just want 1 in decent shape for my fleetwood if I end up doign a conversion in the future.
Got a picture? Theres a 78 CDV in a yard here.leatherandwood said:Hello, all. I am the proud owner of a 79 SDV, and i'm in desperate need of a passenger side headlight bezel. I've scoured salvage yards only to find ones that are useless or are missing entirely. Anyone that could help
would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to trade (although the stuff I have is fairly limited and not in excellent shape, in which case I figure cash would do as a fine substitute.
thanks in advance!
