^That's funny that you should mention that. I JUST ordered the brackets for the cable last night. A few quick clicks and I should have my new JEGS parts in a few days.

WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT!!! Oh well, if the parts I ordered don't work out then I'll order that stuff. Looks like top-notch parts, too. Hmm.

Re: 1984 Coupe DeVille Engine Swap!

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a VERY busy weekend. Between helping my dad put a new roof on our house and work I've had no Cadillac Time.

That being said, I have this Tuesday off! Wrenches will fly, engines will be worked on, and a gearbox will be bolted to something. So sit tight, and I'll be back next week.

The suspense is killing us, but I got my "engine fix" for today when I turned into my neighbourhood and my No Charge light blipped on.

Yeah. The irony is I just got BACK from all my car nonsense and pulled in and my belt was destroyed. Didn't even make a sound (may have slipped off and just worn down for those thirty seconds I still had to drive. I had a belt left from the LAST time this crap happened (Damn oil) and put it on. I will go in search of a slightly smaller belt now, so I can make SURE it is kept plenty tight and hopefully get this crap dealt with when I take the car in once I have some free cash. That and my neon lighting on the right side keeps bugging out and I will have to deal with that.

Note: As much as I disapprove of ricey neon lighting on cars I feel that the one and ONLY time it is properly called for is on e Hearse, for that whole "Eerie" feel it gives off. Not on a regular Brougham and never on a muscle car, not on a sports sedan, not on your CTS-V or a fast car of any kind and especially not one of these little "import tuners".

Neon can be tastefully if they are not made tacky, so no strobe headlights, random badges or LED skulls mounted on the chassis, no ghetto rims, no HID kits, no Ghettoblaster and no loud exhaust system, even though those are the traditional modifications FL sees for slow cars to make them look slick, but I am happy with the way my car looks and can honestly say that the only time these neon lights have EVER been used is for a Halloween display. Also, on that note, I hope to get some good photos this October for you guys from Ultimate Horror weekend (So you can see that weird "Art Car" Hearse with the fangs and weird murals on it) and at another event that The Director Of Recreations decided I should help with after I found her snapping photos of my car.

I am like...The Duke of Off-Topicness, so I'm going to shut up now.

Dunno man, I'd love to run the wagon open headers... but I fear it'd get annoying after awhile.

It should be on a lift somewhere.

Or on the ground with a 350 above it.

    Or in MY driveway.

    >_>

^About time I stepped in here. I have Mon. - Wed. off this week. And most of Thursday. I promise you, there will be updates and LOTS of pictures. Sorry, just have been VERY busy with work lately. Thanks for the nudge, Roo.
