Update! I have finally finished my project! I got the last pieces of the puzzle yesterday (ABS Sensors).

And here is all the stuff I replaced.

Now all I need to do is grease all the fittings and take it to get an alignment.

Thanks guys, It's at the alignment shop now. I dropped it off last night so I should have it back today, and they're only charging me 60 bucks.

why do your upper ball joints look different? also you might want to face the threads of your bolts for the upper ball joints UP as the nuts will spin freely and u can be assured that the nuts aren't catching onto something on the bottom (grease seals, digging into control arm...) so they can be properly torqued. Accessing and holding nuts to the proper torque seem rather difficult the way that they are.

one upper control arm was from Oreilly's and the other was direct from Dorman themselves. for some reason no one carried the right upper at the time.they are both Dorman, but I don't know why the ball joints look different. These ones are riveted like the factory ones.

hey good info man thanks for the post...few questions...how much did this improve your drivability...i have 92 rwd Brougham and my car has same problem...car wobbes and vibrates at low or high speeds...alotta play in steering both directions...hard turn left or right car jumps until hard turn released...smallest of bump or crack in road feels like i jumped curb absolutely no shock absorption....slight turn left or right i hear knock noise from front end underneath...i pretty much need EVERYTHING for my front end...i was looking to replace all the steering and suspension hardware...where did you get your parts...seem like you got EVERYTHING you needed for good price

When it comes to ball joints , tie rods, centerlinks and other parts don't buy by price.... go for quality.... there are cheap parts that don't last.. some car dealers use that junk to get it to pass inspection and get it off the lot..Even some shops will put the cheap Lifetime garantee, and in a year you will be back having them put a new one but you will be paying labor and alinement.. If you plan on keeping the car get MOOG parts... There are other brands, like TRW, that make make a cheap part and a higher priced part..... Don't buy the cheap parts.... your best chances are going with Moog...

Moog is defiantly the way to go. I got all my stuff from O'reilys auto parts. Some of the stuff you can't get from moog. If I remember correctly.

Yeah but how does the car ride now after all that work? I think that's what we truly would like to know

Do you notice any weight difference between the older upper and lower control arms, compared to the new ones? For instance does the steel feel a little less sturdy.

Sorry guys, Haven't had a computer in weeks. I finally got it back. The ride is a little more firm, not super bouncy like before. But I believe that was mainly due to old shocks. the weight of everything (old and new) felt the same if I recall right.
