Wow. That car is nice.

How are the wheels? I remember reading somewhere that letting a car sit that long will mess with the roundness or something along those lines.

nice pics.....looks like the same color on my 80 coupe too? Is it a color code 54? If so we have the same color of car; colonial yellow but I have the 603 color code interior which is Saddle in leather. Keep us updated!!!

yeah the color code is 54, and the leather code is 504 (yellow).

Ok, haven't had much time to get on here lately... but thought i would update a little. Car needed a new fuel pump and filter. A new computer. And i replaced the ignitiion key cylinder. new plugs and wires. put new gas in, and she runs. Still running rough, and check engine light is on. Sounds kind of like a hot rod the way she idles, but i'm hoping she will run better once all of the old junk gets out of her. all interior lights work, trunk pull down works. Haven't had much time to get her really going but she'll be a project, maybe a new engine. Not bad though for 20 years of sitting, I think! Any suggestions?

See DopeStar's last thread about engine knocking. Sounds like the whole engine and fuel system could use a good cleaning. I believe Chad could recommend a good product for you.

The car's fuel system is disconnected. The machine is hooked up, and the car runs on a special cleaner chemical. Cleans the intake, the heads, valves, combustion chamber, and cats. The results are measurable in about 10-20 minutes on the machine by reading the vacuum of the engine. As it gets cleaned, vacuum will increase. This is not snake oil that gets poured in your gas tank, it is very well documented, and worthwhile for older FI cars. There are videos of the whole process on google if you have half an hour to kill.
