Hood Release on '70 DeVille Conv

Hi all. Need some guidance here. Can anyone tell me where the hood release on a 1970 Coupe DeVille convertible is located? I would assume exterior mounted, but where exactly?

The hood release is not in the car.. if you put your fingers just under the hood above the grill.. almost in the center, just a little on the drivers side.. there will be a lever... push up on it and it will open the hood...

i grew up with a 1970 deville convertible. there is no release. like the previous poster, it is below the lip of the hood. place your hand to the LEFT of center about three grille spaces away from the cloisonne emblem. push up on the lever. there you go.
