Need to see pics to accurately assess the damage you're talking about.

Not sure if this will work, but I am trying to upload a pic of the Caddy here. If you can even see it, the right rear bumper has discoloration. I am not picking up til MOnday now, so this is the best I could get til then.

Can't really see anything because the pic is too small. As for the rest, um, well, if you like it, that's all that matters.

Is that 'um' a way of telling me the car is horrible looking? I definitely need a professional opiinion here. I would be happier if it were original and in this condition, so I am not totally thrilled with the look. I would be saved a lot of money if someone told me this thing looked ridiculous... =) Any takers??

Personally, I think it looks sweet. I don't know. Some customs I hate, some I really like.

It is too hard for me to tell. I think it looks good, because the paint job is so unique. I also think it looks good cause it is my FAVORITE year and model for Cadillac.... I think I would like a 60 no matter what it looked like. But there is also that thing where you date a girl you THINK it hot, and none of your friends tell you she looks like a horse. All that aside, if I had all the cash in the world, I would still want a 60, and I think I would prob leave the paint job (just get the man himself to do the touch-ups).

    Re: 1960 cadillac coupe deville

Hahahahaha looks like a horse. Priceless.

But no, I would leave it too, and actually ask what he would charge to touch it up. If he remembered the car as fondly as you said, you might get lucky. Sometimes people really are in it more for the cars than the money, you know?

Kinda like me. I KNOW I could sell my car and get something economical and more college-student like, but I don't care. I love my car, even though I haven't even driven it yet (well, aside from the first time 3 years ago when my uncle still owned it), so money is no object, it's just whatever I can afford.

The picture is too small to make a definitive judgement, but as you asked....

The color is not the issue. In fact, it reminds me of the various mauves and lavenders Cadillac offered as standard color choices over the years, and it does suit the car's lines. I think it's more the oversized rims combined with the lowrider look that make me take a pass.

All that said, what I or anyone else thinks is meaningless. It's not our car, and if you think it looks hot, the rest of us had better learn to like horses.

Well he did say it has switches, so it could be sitting low. I too would pass on the rims though. But the color is sweeeeeeet.

Maybe find a set of OEM wheels for it and save those ones on it for certain shows, etc. Depending on the crowd that's there, you know?

    More likely an Eldorado.
First year for the Seville was 1975.

'56-'60 Eldorado hard tops were called Eldorado Sevilles.

    That looks like a '60.
