Bought another Fleetwood from a forum member!

I bought Caddycruiser's gorgeous 1995 Fleetwood Brougham. The shipper is supposed to pick it up next week and hopefully I will have it in 10 days. I can't wait.

I always teased him that I would buy it if he ever sold it... and I did.

I already have a buyer for the wagon who is coming on the 15th to get it.

The '95 will be my new daily driver. Immediately it will get a full tune up and new fluids, some tints, SS springs, SS sways, Bilsteins, and a few other goodies. Nothing drastic.

Here are a few pics, I can't wait!!

I am going to miss the wagon, but a Fleetwood like Derek's doesn't come along every day.

I've wondered when it might actually be announced, and here it is

Guess I've just been too busy with sorting things out and playing with the new car to say much, hah. I'll start a thread sometime, somewhere.

But yes, off to Elias it goes, hopefully VERY soon. Not that I won't miss it, but oy is it like figure 8's in the drive anytime someone wants to leave. Now up to 6, and honestly could be 7 shortly if my father buys another new-old something he's been looking at. I'm hoping now that the holiday is over the broker can get a truck scheduled and it can head off to Elias ASAP, for its next round of life!

Here were my most recent pictures, too, as compared to the ones (not that different) above from 2006:

It'll get the continued loving touch from Elias, I know, and various maintenance items it's due for as well. Little bit of a project, but a fun one for the price

Dad now wants (well, doesn't WANT, but given the situation...) to get rid of his white/red '93, too. If that happens, we'll have gone from 2 eye catching Caddies to 0 in a very short time. We'll see.

Actually this is my 4th Fleetwood, but my 16th Cadillac.

I said this before but now this gorgeous FWB should feel right at home in Chicago looking just like a mob car

There is something about the color, coupled with those rims that comes across as "purposefully mean" to me, at least. Like a hit man's express or something.
I can barely wait to see what Elias will do to it by the end of summer.

EVERYONE says that, including someone at school a few months ago that just randomly found out (I know them...but they never saw me driving) it was my car, and said "That's an awesome car. It looks like some kind of a Russian mob vehicle, and fits you well."

It's not black, which is still the Fleetwood ultimate, but I've loved the colors more than anything else. Especially, also, the Fawn Grey being matched with Light Neutral inside and not gray like so many of them. It would have only been better had it been ordered sans vinyl top, but alas.

The other thing is the stance...even with everything 100% stock, it's just always sat PERFECTLY with the SS wheels and tires. Not that it won't look better lower, as it will, but it's great as is now. Reminds me of a factory performance package, in looks.

I was just thinking today...slightly lowered, tints (which I ALWAYS wanted to do, but never did due to the laws), exhaust, and the few touch-ups and it will really be a looker. Now, let's all hope the truck comes ASAP so it can start.
