Motor swap

Is there anybody in the Baltimore area who can do a motor swap? My car's been down for 9 months and the mechanic I gave it to bailed on the job and left it sitting for 5 months! Are you serious?!! I have a 1990 Cadillac Brougham and I trying to swap the motor for an Olds 350. Anybody with info please hit me up. Please!!

Take your money that you were going to give to your mechanic, buy some tools and a shop manual, rent an engine puller, buy a case of beer, call a couple of buddies, and do it yourself! Engine swaps are just unpluging connectors and removing and replacing bolts. You can do it. We can help. We're like the internet Home Depot for Cadillacs.

I just pulled my first engine on saturday and it was pretty easy and I'm switching to fuel injection but pulling a motor is pretty easy but if you dont, put an add on craigslist for someone to do it.

yeah that sounds like an easy swap. just be careful and get a manual like jay said. its easier than it sounds! it took me about a full day to get the engine out and the new one in. hooking everything up was a different story but it's really not that bad. good luck!
