Always be wary of mileage on non-digital odometers. Most of these cars should be well over 100K but they all seem have 75K or 85K. And use CARFAX and other vehicle history reports with care as they're not always accurate. I've pulled many, many reports and have found lots of errors.

Better to look at the overall condition of the car to judge the mileage - at least you'll have a better "feel" for it. And take everything else in kind.

Look at the pedals, are they too new or too worn? Etc. Seats, bolsters, steering wheel. All those things make a difference. Again, are they too new or too old or do they fit the car?

Agreed, had my brother go thru it top to bottom and drive it around Vegas. The car was only used sparingly last 4 yrs. Total of 3k in that time period so they weren't racking up many miles. Pedals and drivers seat show little wear as well.

With carfax, it's not worth trying to fool anybody anymore. There are plenty of low mileage 15-20 year old cars left. A million and one different cases where people just didn't drive them that much. Look at Florida, people go there to retire and just don't go anywhere. Time and the sun beats them up, not the drivers.
