A Dual double din screen...hmm...I've yet to see that yet. Intriguing, cheap brand (right?) and all. Which one is it? |

for the money you cant go wrong but dont expect the features and quality to be on par with that of Kenwood, Alpine or Eclipse.... |

No screen, no nav, no DVD, but oozing quality and sound.
But if you want a screen, DVD, etc...can't beat the Dual units for their price. |

I Have The Kenwood Dnx-7100 Nav/dvd System Installed In My 93 Fleetwood. I Like The Double Din Style Better. But I Payed Close To $1,000 To Buy The Unit Plus Have It Installed.
The Down side Of A Double Din System Is That It Looks More Appealing To Thieves. The One You Have Probably Has A Removable Face Plate...or At Least It "looks" Like A Regular Plain Jane Radio.

Any pics you can show of the unit? I'm looking at a Pioneer Avic-D3. Still not 100% sure about it. |

This is the best pic - but its not my car picture. I'm going to post that at some point. |

Curious...why or how did you think it was a 1.5 din? Even without understanding that, just looking at it is pretty self explanatory that it's as large as head units get | http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...Video/FitGuide
Punched the car info on Pioneer's site and came up with din and a half. |

CRAZY | Correct. You really can't blame all of the chain store installers and others, who don't know (well, okay, you can...as I do) when a lot of the sites also are wrong.
Mostly a lot of just not knowing or checking and assuming "Well, it must be like other ones" when putting a website together.
Yet, rest assured, it's double din (just look at it...), and if you have a '93-96, the Metra 70-1856 harness is your friend as well as the Metra 99-2003 fitment kit, for all of the '93+ Fleetwoods. |

I'm still new to audio installs. whats the harness for? Is it just the specific harness for our car, or does it do something else? |
