No, the ignition is "on" but the key it out. My '90 did that along with my '85 Burb a long time ago... haha. The key just becomes worn and can be slid out even when the car is on.

Often I would slightly turn the switch to unlock it, then put the keys in my pocket. Then when the passengers would get in, they'd see me start her with no key.... needless to say, they all thought I was a professional thief!

My 80 T/A does that with the worn key, with a fresh one doesn't....

Looks Like theres a warning light on the dash thats lit up...The key is not turned on?

When they put the new engine in they didnt hook up all the wiring harnesses (air compressor isnt hooked up, plus some more I may be missing). The check engine light is on and the ABS light.

I've been driving it as my daily for over a month now though and thiers no drivability problems at all.

If any one wants it around the Michigan area Ill let it go for $1200. Thiers nothing wrong with the car (minor body blemishes, top is cracking), it is just turning into a little more of a gas guzzler then I'd like.

I'm prolly gonna trade it for a 90 full size Blazer 4x4 in the next 2 weeks if no one buys it.

O yea and I have the chrome insert that goes on the driver side handle

Oh Dang! Here's a near mint '90 with the 350!! Only $1950 to "Buy it Now" and bidding lower than that! I suggest somebody here snatch her up before she falls victim to an over-customizer.

To me the wrong tires on the pre-1977's screws up the looks even more than on post 1977's. That '73 just looks odd to me, plus it's sagging front & back.
