No, not a V4P, though I had upgraded it to a similar package. The 3.42 Posi I put in didn't live, and has been replaced by a 2.56 open again. However the upgraded transmission, and transmission cooler are both in place, and a step up even over the V4P package. The ad is still in the classifieds.

1978 Arizona Beige Pheaton (not my car) at car lot

Not my car, but in case anyone is interested, I saw this car at a little car lot in Manheim, PA today. Asked guy what he was asking and he said around $7,200 but would negotiate. Paint would need detailed, leather interior looked free of tears/rips, but had the age cracking to it in front. Odometer was 07238 (don't know how many times it rolled over). VIN was 6D47S80276568. Didn't have guy come out and open hood.

Probably rolled across Manheim Auto Auction which is about 1/2 mile down the road.

    1987 Cadillac Brougham

Okay, this time I mean it. It's sad, but true that I have to sell my Cadillac to a good home. I haven't got much interest here, to my surprise, so I will post it up here too. It's a 1987 Cadillac Brougham.

THE REASON: I will being moving out of my home state mid-May and I won't have the room for it.

THE PICTURES: (Interior and Exterior): http://s694.photobucket.com/albums/v...My%20Cadillac/

It is a 1987 Cadillac Brougham, again, with 152,xxx miles on it. Below I will be honest and try my best at listing the both good and bad things about my Cadillac.

    THE GOOD:
    • I have the OEM Service manual to the car.
    • I have the original leather bound owner's booklet (seen in pictures) which includes: original Warranty and owner assistance information booklet, owner's manual itself, maintenance schedule booklet, outdated road service booklet, Gold Key Delivery System booklet, official 1987 Cadillac model exterior color chart.
    • Original Gold Key owner's cassette tape, still works too!
    • Original hubcap key and I even think that's the original donut-spare tire. Looks brand new, I never used it.
    • A new fuel filter, distributor rotor and spark plug wires goes with the car.
    • Not sure if this can be a "good" or not, but I believe I am its fourth owner and the previous owner, an elderly lady, owned it for 15 years or so and took good care of it. I have attempted my best.
    • Despite it's age and mileage the engine is still strong. It has never failed to start on me, even when it was below 30-degree F.
    • Body is straight with practically no rust except for two tiny spots I noticed.
    • Vinyl top is in very good condition for its age.
    • Dash has no cracks.
    • A/C and heater/defrost work great.
    • Radio works, but not the tape deck.
    • Temperature indicator works great. I love this feature for some reason.
    • Power windows, locks, seats and trunk lid pull-down all functional.
    • All bumper fillers are in good condition, surprise!
    • Leather seats are in good condition, back seat looks practically new, with exception of a tiny bit of wear on passenger seat.
    • Installed an aftermarket alarm, which works great with two remotes, one of which needs to be reprogrammed; the other works fine.

    THE UNGOOD:
    • Power antenna is stuck in the up position. The motor continuously runs when hooked up, radio works fine.
    • Typical small scratches and dings along side for a car this age, but nothing horrible.
    • Slight oxidation occurring on hood.
    • Weather stripping on all doors are slightly worn. I haven't noticed any leakage except maybe if it is raining hard and blowing wind that leads to some dribbles on the front passenger side door.
    • Both front and rear bumpers have been pushed in a tiny bit. Both happened before I owned it. There is no damage to the frame. (see in pictures)
    • Driver side door and front fender are a slightly off color than the rest of the body. I bought it this way. I am lead to believe the driver side door was replaced at some time as it feels lighter than the other doors
    • Driver side door trim-molding is missing, no I don't have it.
    • Headliner is coming down a bit, but I have it held up in place with thin-strips of wood trim - looks better than thumbtacks! (seen in pictures)
    • I believe the T.C.C. solenoid needs to be replaced. Transmission shifts just fine with absolutely no problems (including no knocking), but when on the highway for long distances and then getting off, it tends to shift heavily up until around 5 minutes off the highway and back on the road then things return to normal. That's it. I believe the part is between $20-30 and fairly easy to get to.
    • Engine belts might need to be replaced. They should still last awhile, but does slightly squeal occasionally when temperatures are cold enough and heater engaged.
    • It has a slow oil leak. Perhaps 1 quart every 4-6 months depending on how much it is driven.

Nothing really hideously wrong with it, in my opinion, several are only cosmetic. I did my best at honestly listing all the good and bad about my Cadillac. It has a been a very good car for the past 2 to 3 years I have owned it, my first Cadillac too! As mentioned it has never left me stuck and never failed to start as my daily driver all the time I have owned it.

THE PRICE: No clue if I'm in the ball park or not... might be too high - might be too low... but how about $1,800 O.B.O. I can negotiate some, of course.

    THE LOCATION: NE Wichita, KS.

If interested send me a message or post here, however it's done here. Heh, I've never tried to sell on the forum before. I'd like it to go to a good home and not fate it to become a lowrider or something hideous, thus I will try and sell it to those here.

Not sure if I should request the deletion of the previous post or just state it here, but I sold the car locally. I miss the Cadillac already.
