Over 70 oil changes...
11 sets of brake pads
8 sets of tires
3 water pumps
2 transmissions
2 batteries (why does a battery outlast a transmission?)
1 set of plugs
Still going strong after 300,000 miles...
ORIGINAL:
Engine (NEVER rebuilt)
Optispark
Alternator
Starter
Windsheild
Paint
All hoses
Upholstery and carpet
A recent review of my warranty papers shows that my car was built on 3/28/1994 (yes a Monday).

But 300,000 is amazing too! And 344,000.. I wonder how long mine will last.. I hope just as long.. These cars seem to keep looking good, too.. I think most Cadillacs do.. Just most don't last too long past 100,000 miles or so... Or somebody stupid gets it and kills it...
This is the kind of longevity I need after a history of cars that broke-down constantly... |

The valve covers are from the LT1 Corvette as well as the fuel rail covers. When you use these valve covers, the breather connections are much cleaner. If you have the factory service manual, look on page 8A-201-49 and 8A-201-50; these were apparantly planned for use at some time
SAL,
I do have another console already cut and ready to be installed. I got it as a spare. It is tan and could be had for $150.
Fastwood, What else can I say but keep driving that limo... I'm just over your shoulder and catching up... |

I don't do as much driving as the last owner did, so you might just catch up. if Sal doesn't want the console maybe I'll take it off your hands. Is it a complete console with shifter and wood? |

JUST WONDERING. :rolleyes2 | Yes. I'm not excited about selling my car - but if someone is willing to pay my high price, I'll take it, move to Florida (which I'm doing in a month), and buy another low-mileage Fleetwood Brougham... |

At any cost, I'm probably not ready to do this right now - with moving and all - but $150.00 is a great price.. I wouldn't be able to finish it for a long time, though.. The seat and the navigation... It would just end up in storage... If I wasn't moving, I'd jump on that deal... | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
