Windshield Washer Fluid not working

Remove this ad
1984 Deville keeps telling me that there is no windshield washer fluid since the light comes on. The tank is full, i checked all the hoses, even cleaned them out. It still does not come out. The motor and winshield wipers work and I hear a click but it does not spray. The only thing I can think of is the sensor not working. ANy Suggestions?

Re: Windshield Washer Fluid not working

unplug the hose that goes in the sensor, and just put it in the tank and press the washer buttom so it squirts water. if it works, the sensor is fukked. My sensor stopped working, so I drilled a little hole on top of the tank lid where you open to fill up, and I put a hose extention that goes directly into the tank. Works like a wonder since.

Re: Windshield Washer Fluid not working

If washer motor is working, remove hoses and clean them out. They get filled with calcium over time.
