Should i reinforce my frame? iam not going to put hydraulics on it, though i may put in air bags. Does a loose frame lead to misalignment of body panels? would my caddy benefit from a boxed frame? why or why not? any ideas or comments would be extemely helpful. thanksss

What do you intend to do with the car? Through 1976 full size rear drive Cadillacs had a box section frame; in 1977, they began using "C-channel" beams from the firewall to the rear axle arch, and a box section from the axle arch back. The frame should be fine for what the car was originally intended for. The Seventy Fives are pillared bodies, so if they are rust free, they are generally strong. I can't speak about hydraulics or air bags, but the '71-'76 frames are built more heavily than the '77-96 chassis.

www.layitlow.com Airbags don't require a lot of support for the frame as they are not as powerful. It wouldn't hurt but seems unneccessary.
