Beautiful cars in the last picture is that true duals? Are both pipes hooked up? Because on mine the shop said they weren't able to get both pipes over the rear axle.

I've got 2 1/4" duals on my lowered '81 and there's more than enough room to go bigger.

I was thinking of doing that.. then I remembered it's -20!

Yep, it's officially winter up here in Alberta. Luckily the caddy won't see too much winter driving this year, since I'm taking public transit to classes during the week (parking was sold out).

Also, I'm just about to go get an oil change, I was wondering what you guys think about changing the differential fluid? I just looked and it doesn't seem to have a drain plug, which makes me think the job is a little too complicated for Lube-X (last time they forgot to put the oil cap back on, fail!). They want $80 to change it out.

how many miles on it? do you have a FSM? I think mine for my 87 said every 100,000 miles or so.

Man, crazy you guys got that much snow already! I think back home in northern maine they are starting to get snow too...but down here in the portland area, no snow yet

gatta put the 87 into storage soon though before snow falls.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

Well, the clock says 30,000 kilometers, but depending on how many times it's "rolled over" that could be as a high as 330,000. I always assumed it was 230,000, but the mechanic that did the pre-purchase inspection a year ago said judging by the condition of the engine, it had only 116,000 (the clock showed 16,000 at the time).

I think I might have it done at the dealer or do it myself sometime in the summer, before the next time we take it on a road trip. Anyone else have a say?

I'd say it shouldn't be too hard to do it yourself. Especially if you have the FSM. if not, I can post the info from my 87 FSM. let me know

I've got an FSM, but thanks for the offer. I'll go have a look at the procedure.

^Loose everything lowrider and make them look like factory originals and that would be a really nice car.

I'm not into that lowrider thing, but I LUV the way these builders convert these Fleetwoods into coupes.
