Knockout ride! I have always wanted to see one of the two-tones WITHOUT a vinyl roof of any kind, and it looks great. The white walls are fine just as they are - please don't get wide ones. Wide whites look lousy on any car built after the fifties.
Hey, I'm not talking about wide whitewalls, I'm talking about the ones that came on it originally. The 1.3 inchers.

These, see the difference?
I do see the difference, and the narrow ones look better. The emphasis should be on the wheel or wheel cover, not the white wall, and the narrower ones accentuate this, whereas the wider ones tend to draw the eye away - there's just too much blinding white going on.
OK Took me long enough! The weather has been great here and I got my 77 Deville out for the first time since November!
This was my Grandfather's Car he bought it new in 77. It became mine in 1990. It's bone stock all original except for the KOOKs custom stainless exhaust.
Pix of my FWB to follow.
Your cars all look great!

My Whitewalls are Goodyear Arriva's from 1989! They still have some tread and haven't rotted out! Good Year stopped making these wide whites a long time ago. I have no idea what I will replace them with but I love the wide whitewalls.
