With a brown interior, you can do white, black, dark blue, dark red, dark green, brown, tan, yellow, or gold. I vote for dark green.

I think dark green would be sexy as hell - - plus you'd have the only one like it, not that there are many other Cadillacs around where you are anyway.

In the spirit of Mudant's NAPA calendar photos, here's my car in Her Natural Habitat.

Couldn't take the car to the Garage today, due to a lack of a ride back, but while stopping to buy some rats at the pet store, I opted for some quick snapshots.

I propose we trade vehicles for a stretch of the meet. lol

    That thing is awesome.

Hell it's almost like we should trade tires. I hate my whitewalls, and your hearse NEEDS some ASAP.

I'll let you drive Her if you really want. Never had that request before. As for the Whitewalls, no worries, I have been destroying the tread on the tires and once they're gone, I will get some whitewalls. I think we covered the long-wheelbase and wet road concept, and with all this rain and the inability to get my car fixed, I have to have fun with it somehow. Get this. The local place that seals windshields needs me to make an appointment, because whenever I call, there is nobody there who knows how to seal them... Then why are they open? That's ALL they do.

Haha yeah, wet roads + long wheelbase IS fun.

I don't know, I think it'd be interesting to drive. I've never driven a 307 powered car, and with the added weight of the hearse I think it would give me a good idea of how they are. Plus you can romp around with the 350 for a bit, sort of like a preview of things to come (if you ever get the swap on).

Trust me , I will, it's just financing. If I can get this JOB SWAP going on, the engine swap will follow soon. I don't know how many people are itching to work at The Warehouse, but it's no further than my job and they start at $14.50 an hour and ALLOW Overtime, while as my current job won't give any. Then I can get these few mechanical issues sorted out, sand her, repaint her, new vinyl and a 454. Good Times.

Mark my words, however long it takes, it WILL get done.

Yeah, romping around with my Hearse will give you a good idea. I've never driven any other 307 vehicle, but assume the rest are a bit more responsive than mine. For what it's worth, it's still a good engine to cruise in.

The first picture is nice; make a good calender photo, especially if the theme was "Find The Zombie."

I contemplated taking her out, putting her someplace obscure in a photo (with more tombstones) and posting it in the Lounge, making no note to the fact that I HAD a Zombie, just to see how long it would have taken somebody to notice.

I don't know about Calendars, but I managed to get one of those photos where you don't really see the bulk of the car's distress, besides the "smiley bumper" anyhow. Taking the car in TOMORROW for the engine, then have to schedule the windshield sealing, hopefully I will get to take the bumper off and try to adjust that before then. This will mean clipping a bunch of wireties and such, though that is fine, because neither of the transformers I have mounted to the inside of the front bumper are hooked up to any power source anyhow. Then I have to also get my NC relay back in place for my Wig-Wags and then it's off to the Matt-Roo-Extravaganza in West Palm.

If someone makes a calendar out of it, I call October.

Yeah, so if nobody hears from me tomorrow, I'm on a rampage from lack of having a Cadillac at my disposal.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

I think these are the first good pics I've seen of the hearse. I think I'm gonna have to add to my list of possibilities when I sell the brown one. So now its a 69-70 coupe or a 77-80, 91-92 hearse. Probably still go with the coupe but I haven't seen many pics of the hearses.
