I really like it, actually. Always been a fan of continental kits.

My first reaction when I saw the price on that Dealer Installed Option was "someone did an awful lot of padding on the price of that Presidential edition." I'm guessing the original buyer probably didn't pay the full sticker price.

One of the things that window sticker showed was that the Fleetwood was originally shipped to Devoe Cadillac in Naples, FL. After finding their website, I sent the General Manager some pics of the Fleetwood and told him what I knew of how the car has spent the last 17 years since they delivered it new. He wrote back and was really excited to hear the news, and commented that back in '93, he had been Sales Manager and actually remembered the car. Apparently, they only did three of the "Presidential Series" editions.

Like I said, I probably will, but given how much life those tires still have on them, I can't stand the idea of just ditching them now. Give it another year and I'll find some Vogues.

Thanks! Between the Continental Kit and the two-tone leather interior, I knew I had to have this Brougham when I first saw it.

Freakin' awesome! At the price of the upgrade to presidential, it should have bullet proof glass. Sweet Caddy.

I think the White Letters Look at home on the Roadmaster edition Fleetwoods; perhaps not so much on one as glitzed out, but definitely on a no optioned base model.

I think I wish you lived closer. I would totally trade you the whitewalls off my wagon for those.

Sigh. I need some white letter tires. lol

How's this for a bit of irony: your profile says you're in Florida. When I bought the car last summer, I had to fly to Tampa to take delivery and drive it back here. So the car was a lot closer to you up until about a year ago.

I will say this about that two-and-a-half day drive back home after I picked it up: that Fleetwood is easily the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven. The air conditioning was ice cold, the ride was smooth as glass, and I had room inside that leather-and-wood cabin to spare. It even made driving across Kansas tolerable. Do you know how difficult it is to tolerate crossing Kansas on I-70?

Yes, the Cadillac crest (no wreath) is embossed in the center, surrounded by a square.

So then it belong in the trunk of a de Ville and not a Brougham.

But then again, I'm not really a stickler for correct ornamentation...
