I don't know. It makes me laugh every time I see it. Thought it was appropriate for the mescaline talk.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

They are stuck between the hood and fenders, but I have them mounted to the underside of the hood.

To get them to stay I had to make mounting brackets for them. I just took a piece of sheet metal and rolled it into a cylinder that was just wide enough to get the ends of the flags in, and then crushed the metal tightly around them. I only put the end of the flag halfway into the cylinder, so I could crush the end flat and bend it into a hook. If you look at the hood of an '80-'92 (Fleetwood) Brougham, right up front, the sides get thin. You put the hooks on the thin part and then use needle nose pliers to clamp them down. Once you have them set at the correct gap, the flags should pop on and off and hang onto to the bottom side of the hood without further adjustment.

I would recommend using the flags with the plastic poles; anything above 45 starts to bend the poles (I've had them on while going 70 with out a problem).

Too much IMO, but it's not my car. The important thing is that you like them. That's all that really matters.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

Hey, everyone. I got the chance to take some pics of my '93 Fleetwood Brougham today. I've actually had this car since last August, but decided to snap a few shots today and share them. Hope you enjoy!

First, a bit of keepsake item. Apparently, the original owner of this car was so proud of it, he had the window sticker laminated. Somehow, the laminated sticker has remained with the FWB for 17 years now.

The car had a "Dealer Installed Option" of a Presidential Series edition added, at a cost of $17,010. Made the sticker price on the car $54,995 originally. So what did this get you?

First, a contrasting color vinyl roof (in this case, gold)

It also came with a gold-plated front grille and "Presidential" badges:

And a Continental Kit (something I like, but that I know is pretty "love it or hate it on first sight" kind of thing):

The wheels match the wheel on the Continental kit addition:

And best of all, it came with a two-tone leather interior:

Finally, I should mention the mileage. Over 17 years, this FWB has averaged about 3,300 miles/year:

Thanks for taking a look! I'm really loving this Brougham!

That two tone interior is freaking awesome. But please put some whitewalls on that poor car, those white letter tires are so trailer park. I bet it orginally came with vogues, you should get some of those if its in your budget.

I may do that, eventually. The BFGoodrich's were there when I bought it, and they were pretty much brand new at the time. Even now, nearly a year later, they still have better than 75% tread life on them.
