Guess I could add dad's too, even though I haven't gotten any good new pics in a while.
Hasn't been looking so great lately, with the top mildewed and grayed once again, it sitting around without much use, and having toasted shocks and such, but my brother tries to keep it detailed when he can.
No offence Derek, but that red leather is odd on that car.
This is more accurate:
Overall, I think the Neutral is probably the best shade for most colors, but the rarer '93 Garnet red is quite nice if you like some color, and not drab like gray or yuck (IMHO) like blue. Not for everyone, but you have to see it in person to get the effect, especially when it's as immaculate as our '93 inside.
That's similar to the red in my brougham. I like the red, It's got a very luxurious feel to it, and sort of harkens back to 50s.
Oh yeah, that's much better looking in that pic. I wish I had some digital pics of the red leather I had in the Roadmaster. I think it was a slightly different shade than the stuff in your '93. In '95, Buick's red leather used in the Roadmaster was called "Dark Ruby Red", Cadillac's red leather used in the Fleetwoods was called "Dark Cherry" , probably not the exact same color.
I kinda like that red leather but what do I know?.:alchi:
90 Brougham at Cadillac Day 2006, and the Brougham and 82 S&S Hearse.
very nice. that '90 is real clean and you just cant go wrong with a hearse.
This is my beast.
its an 89 Brougham D'elegance. its not in the greatest condition but i have some big plans.
Not in the greatest condition? It looks like it could be almost mint under all that dirt!
Seriously, take her to a detailer, you will see new life emerge.
I love the silver.
I think the red leather is seriously sweet in the older FWB's. My Grandmother had a silver 79 with red leather. Wish I still had it.
Which red was it? in '79 there was a cherry red, then there was a fire engine red. I have a friend with a black 79 CDV with the cherry red interior. ohhh it's nice.
