JB quick weld two part epoxy is amazing stuff. It held a Buick emblem on my old car for three years after it first fell off. |

Get some 3M auto trim adhesive. I used that stuff to glue the trim back on my Mom's Blazer and it works great for plastic to metal bonds. |

The trim piece on my old car was a piece of chrome plated metal attached to the trunk lid. |

Just don't overdue it with the spray stuff or you end up with some glue drippage that's hard to get off (not so much on the chrome bumper probably, but on the paint it was) |
