and then my 1969 coupe deville repainted and sold to my buddy. he's selling her back to me when i get more space at my house and i'll paint her proper.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

Yep, my Brougham is already out at the farm for winter. I just have to drive out there sometime this week and give it a final wash, then park it, disconnect the battery and put the cover on.

For the love of all that's holy, fix that bumper at your earliest opportunity! Love the RM, BTW.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

yeah the loose trim is bothering me. i cant think of a way to really fix it short of replacing it, the fasteners are broken off in the bumper.

Glue it back on there. JB quick weld two part epoxy is amazing stuff. It held a Buick emblem on my old car for three years after it first fell off.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

Get some 3M auto trim adhesive. I used that stuff to glue the trim back on my Mom's Blazer and it works great for plastic to metal bonds.

That might work better actually. The trim piece on my old car was a piece of chrome plated metal attached to the trunk lid.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

ya JB Weld is great or the 3M spray adhesive works good too. Just don't overdue it with the spray stuff or you end up with some glue drippage that's hard to get off (not so much on the chrome bumper probably, but on the paint it was)

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!
