It would be about the same MudAnt, look up some of the crash test videos for those things. There's one where it collides with an S Class and rolls like 5 times. lol

This whole conversation kind of reminds me of that one VW commercial for the Jetta TDI where the old bug is like "It's sweet, it's like bwaaahhhhhhh, bwaaaahhhhhhhh.... What's your hybrid sound like?"

I saw that video Sting! First I made a face and then laughed... but... that poor Mercedes, it touched one of those things.
Heheh, I liked that ad too, I liked most of those VW ads with Max (he's the black Beetle)... they need to have him in more of their commercials. On a side "Beetle" note I pulled beside that guy with the blue Beetle again this morning. He was inside and parked slightly crooked again! Ha.
As for Matt's comment, ha that is funny, inflatable raft smart car... it might as well be!

Well that poor Mercedes comes from the same company as that "thing" too. 
Didn't know his name was Max. Good to know. I love those commercials. lol I also like how the Prius owner is wasting energy by watering his grass during the commercial. It's clever. |

Yup, the Beetle's name is Max. One day I was bored and was searching YouTube for those VW commercials with him in it... there were lots of them then, but now I can't seem to find too many. There was one where they showed them (assume VW) restoring the old Beetle in a fast, stop-action picture manner until the end where he rolled up to a microphone on a stage and said "hwellllo!" Heh.  |

Yeah, Smart is a Daimler venture. Shame on them I say. I kind of try and follow as much auto news as I can, because I'm interested in almost all of it. (Can't wait until GM takes over Toyota's #1 spot again and KEEPS it.  ) |

But yeah, I like the V-Dub ads with the Beetle too. They had one (a Max) at the detroit auto show this year. He was parked on an upper level, and unfortunately had a growing pool of black oil under it. Otherwise it was in perfect shape. |
