Benzilla, I was told at an early age that everything is for sale. You'll just have to clear a space!
Yeah. The color grows on you. I was hoping to find one in Brittany Blue or Cambridge Red. But, this one will look good once all the character lines have been massaged out and some fresh Duchess Gold applied. Besides, it didn't cost me an arm and leg.
It was great to find this forum. Here are some pics of my 1969 SedanDeville given to me by my Grandparents for graduation several years back. I hope some people check them out and give me some feedback on the car. I really don't have much in the way of resources on finding info on the car.
At some point many years back, it was repainted, I believe it may be the equivalent to the stock color, but the workmanship was horrible, and the finish wasn't good either. The steering wheel has lost the ring around the outside, which I believe also controls the horn. Currently it is covered with a junk cover. The cloth in the middle of the seats is starting to wear out. I certainly have contributed to the drivers side as I love to drive the car, and the seats probably weren't designed for 270lbs. I would like to know if anyone has ever replaced it.
Nice looking car. That's the only generation I can think of in which I actually like the sedan better than the coupe. Now, personally the convertible tops them all, but I think the sedan's roofline is just.... better than the coupe. The paint looks fine in the pictures.
