I was looking at the pictures of all of the great '80s and '90s DeVilles and Fleetwoods. There are some beauties! But, I thought I'd better tone things down a bit with a photo of my old beater. Here's my '71 Coupe deVille.

It's finished with white vinyl over #55 Duchess Gold paint and trimmed out with Dunbar Cloth upholstery in Medium Maize. It sounds fancy enough. Out of the 21 paint colors available from Cadillac in 1971, I would rank this color at #21 on my preference list. But, when you're buying a 36 year old used car, you can't be too fussy!

The odometer shows 33,000 miles. Given the condition of the car, I'm reasonably certain it's actual miles; or darned close to it!

That's beautiful! Looks like it's in fine condition, I actually really like that color on it. Really, if it was for sale and I had a parking space free...
